Annual Scholarship Opportunites

Young adults that graduate from career and technical programs and our colleges and universities are the future business owners, home builders, and tradespeople of Texas. As the state’s population continues to grow and the demand for housing continues to rise, so will the need for construction professionals.

To ensure the next generation is able to attain the proper education and training to meet industry standards, the Texas Builders Foundation has annually awarded scholarships since 2010.

There are two scholarships that students may apply for:

The Texas Builders Foundation Annual Scholarship

Each year, the Foundation awards scholarships to students who are enrolled in construction programs in Texas’ technical and trade schools and colleges and universities and who are pursing a career in the building industry.

Important Dates:

Opens: March 1, 2026

Closes: April 1, 2026

TAB Professional Women in Building Council Scholarship

Each year, the Texas Association of Builders Professional Women in Building Council awards scholarships to women that are in pursuit of, or looking to further a career in the residential construction industry.
